Third Grade Expectations
- Be respectful and kind to others.
- Follow directions the first time given.
- Raise your hand and wait for permission to speak.
- Keep your hands, feet and other objects to yourself.
5. Work quietly and turn assignments in on time.
As students meet the above expectations, they will be rewarded for good behavior by earning plastic pennies. As they earn more pennies, they will be able to trade them in for larger coins and in turn "spend" their money at a classroom store every two weeks.
If the above expectations are not followed, possible consequences are listed below.
Possible Consequences
*The student might have to be moved
and sit away from the group for awhile.
*The student might lose a penny
(from the plastic reward coins they're earning).
*The student might have to miss 5 min. of recess.
*The student might have to go see Mrs. Olsen.
*Mrs. Berndt might have to write a note to the student's parents or call his or her parents.
